Recently a large contingent of South African students and researchers attended and shared their exciting research at the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology Meeting in Birmingham, UK. Many of these presenters were GENUS grantees, including PhD students Lutendo Mukwevho, Megan Woolley, Postdoctoral Fellow Rick Tolchard and Professor Jonah Choiniere. It was wonderful to see such a strong South African presence at the conference—clear evidence of the exciting and innovative palaeontological research emerging from our region.
